Swann

At the moment, I am reading Swann, originally published as Swann, A Mystery in Canada and as Mary Swann in the UK.

I will post comments as I read. I hope you will join me reading this earlier novel of Carol's which she often said was her favourite (although I imagine books are like children and you really shouldn't admit to having a favourite!) and would be interested to know if it is your favourite too.

In doing some research, I came across these foreign language covers for Swann and thought you might find them as interesting as I did:

I had no idea that Carol Shield's books had been translated into so many languages!
