Unless Finishes Third in Canada Reads 2011

We hope you all had a chance to listen to some of the interesting debates for the Canada Reads Battle of the Books 2011. The question - What is the Essential Canadian Novel of the Past Decade?
We congratulate Terry Fallis for his win with his novel The Best Laid Plans. We applaud all the nominees and finalists, the champions, and the readers for making this a great contest.

I just finished reading Unless. It wasn't what I expected it to be and is unlike any other novel I've read. Unless is a fully engaging work by a gifted writer. I will be thinking about this book for a long time.
