I loved this book, I loved reading all of the different perspectives, and appreciated some sisterly/motherly/grandmotherly lessons and advice about life.
Maybe it has something to do with endings leaving lasting impressions, but Carol's Afterword has made the greatest impression on me, and I think (and I've had a lot of great advice lately) is the greatest information/dropped thread that could have been bestowed upon me by this book.
I read her comment on her literary legacy, and that it wasn't of particular importance to her. Ironic. Well, her legacy is important to me.
I am truly grateful.
Thank you,
Lesley S.
